First,
the yard is measured, utilities are located, trees are taken out
and the site is made ready for the beginning of construction.

|
|
Next, the pool is
staked out in the yard, and the excavation crew begins the excavation. |
| Now, the steel rebar
cage is tied inside the pool and plumbers "stub in"
their pipes inside the pool that will be connected later. Little
by little, the pool takes shape. |
|
Probably the
most fascinating stage to watch is the application of gunite.
The gunite is applied at high pressure to the steel rebar cage
to be formed and made into what will be the shape of your pool.

After
the gunite is allowed to cure, plumbing will then be completed
and pumps and pool control systems are then wired for power. |
Waterline tile and
the pool edge or "coping" will then be installed.

Next, wood frames are
staked in the ground to for the shape of the deck, and steel
rebar is tied in for reinforcement. Then, the decks are
poured and left cure.

At this
point we do all the final clean up:
All deck
forms and construction debris is removed.
The deck is acid washed. Bank sand is brought in to do the final
grading on the yard.

The last stage of construction
is the pool plastering. A final layer of smooth cement is
hand troweled on the gunite leaving a comfortable, attractive
surface. |
| Immediately after the
pool is plastered, a hose is placed in the pool and the pool is
filled. |
|
| At
this point, the pool will be started up, the water will be filtered,
chlorinated, and stabilized
and will soon be ready for swimming!
